South Dakota Lift Laws and Vehicle Equipment Laws

South Dakota, unlike North Dakota, has some of the least restrictive street legal laws of any state. There are no suspension lift laws, frame height limits, or bumper height restrictions. This means that residents of South Dakota are free to install suspension lift kits, aftermarket wheels and tires, performance shocks, aftermarket bumpers, and grille guards.
